Our Serving Preachers

Dr. James H. Luther
Dr. Luther is a distinguished professor and minister with over 62 years of faithful service in ministry and theological education. He has taught at the collegiate level and served as Professor of Old Testament at a theological seminary. His ministry has reached an international scope, having trained and equipped pastors in Africa and India. Dr. Luther holds a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Philosophy. He and his wife, Ginny, reside in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

Adam Wheeler
Adam is a professional songwriter and head coach of a high school basketball team. A dedicated member of Goodlettsville Church for more than 35 years, Adam has served in a wide range of leadership roles, including Student Pastor, Worship Leader, Elder, Deacon, Community Hour Leader, and Children’s Ministry Volunteer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Adam and his wife, Angie have to adult sons, Bradley and Ben. The Wheelers live in Cross Plains, Tennessee.

Chris Francis
Chris is a Grocery Team Lead at Publix in Lebanon, Tennessee. He has previously served for five years as a Senior Pastor at churches in Kentucky and Tennessee, including Mount Moriah Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Chris also held the position of Discipleship Director at River Lake Church in Kentucky. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Chris and his wife, Stephanie, live in Bethpage with their sons Isaac and Thomas, and their daughter Micah.

Cliffton B. Barna
Cliffton “Cliff” is a high school teacher of Biblical History and Economics at Liberty Creek High School, where he also coaches multiple athletic teams. From 2017 to 2020, Cliff served as Senior Pastor of Tusculum Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Prior to that, He was Associate Head of School at Christian Community Schools in White House (2015–2017) and Chaplain of Athletics and FCA Campus Sponsor at Bethel University (2008–2015). Cliff holds a Master of Education from Bethel University and a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Kasey, live in White House, Tennessee, with their daughter, Ellie, and sons, Lincoln and Benjamin.
