Tim Stutler

Lead Pastor
Pastor Tim is a third-generation minister who thought he was going to be a professional musician until he realized that God had other plans for him. He grew up in West Virginia and attended the University of Kentucky on a trumpet scholarship. He did graduate studies in music at Northern Illinois University and later, completed an M.Div. at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served numerous roles in the church including children’s and youth ministry, choral directing, worship planning and leading, and lead pastor. Together with his wife Angela Mills Stutler, they have invested their lives into the ministry of the church, mission work and raising their two kids. Ken and Hannah are both serving God in the ministry. Tim enjoys going to movies on “Date Nights” with his wife, deep sea fishing, making music, cooking and making homemade ice cream. He has served in various capacities in his communities from coaching baseball to directing bands, from serving on the city council to serving on the board of directors at Christian schools. He is currently the Vice-Moderator of the Nashville Presbytery. He is a master at bad jokes, so be careful.

Ken Barker

Worship Specialist
In my young adult years I enjoyed working at Word Music and Lifeway Worship, creating four hymnals along the way, and editing, writing, arranging, and producing much choral and instrumental music for the church. Our very own Goodlettsville Church has in its pews the first of those four hymnals I was honored to be a part of. Also almost forty years ago I married Brenda, and together we adopted eleven beautiful children from six different countries! We are a "Little U.N.," and I have been called the "father of many nations!" We are also proud of our four incredible grandchildren!

Now in my middle adult years I am happy and blessed to serve Goodlettsville Church administrating the worship and music area, playing piano, and directing the choir. Our church is filled with talented people, and I desire to see all who are musically gifted use their abilities to serve our Lord Jesus and His Kingdom. I also work part-time for a ministry staffing company, enjoy having a small music company, and getting the word out about the origin of our family through a cinematic book I wrote called "Coming Home."
